Exactly. Campaigns are just another type of marketing. Desperately trying to convince you that Coke really IS better than Pepsi.

This should set the record straight on the GOP candidates.

Oh without a doubt campaigns are all about marketing. Play up the high points, play down the low points, shine up the product, come up with catchy phrases and sound bites and most importantly create an identification between the product (candidate) and the consumer (voter). I always laugh when politicians are stumping in front of the little people, they always roll up their shirt sleeves, unbutton the top button of their shirt, put on the Carhart jacket and try to present themselves in a fashion that the common man--the everyman--can identify with and like. After the election, its back in the Brooks Brothers suit, the $500 haircuts and avoidance of the rabble until the next election season. Thats just the way it is.

And Coke really is better than that toilet water.

Romney wins New Hampshire, Paul takes 2nd place. Two straight top 3 finishes for Paul.

Paul needs a few of the others to drop out in hopes of getting those votes in the remaining primaries. I hate to admit it but Romney is just as bad a candidate as McCain was 4 years ago.

It shows so much how people just arent into Mitt that the no 2 & 3 positions change almost daily with each candidate going up and down in the polls like bottles bobbing in the ocean. Mitt remains consistant but getting no growth, he keeps his 23-25% and thats it. In the end he will outlast the others and 99% of the Rep voters will turn away, stay home and then bitch about Barry winning a shutout.

I think too much is being put into Iowa's voting...Mitt has been the obvious front runner from the beginning and as such has taken most of the heat. But since he's been able to still win Iowa and NH it just shows he can endure negative press and IMO should beat Obama by a narrow margin. Granted it's still very early and for all we know Hillary may become Obama's VP running mate and who knows what will happen

Paul will never get elected but will hang in until the end since his entire campaign is appealing to the Occupiers and only cost $36.90.

Mitt gets the nomination by being vanilla and then gets his clock cleaned by Barry. Barry is going to win re-election by doing nothing and spending no money. Incredible.
    Obama's got this one.
