This is a fight that should allow Pettisto shine. He should start getting flashy in rd 2 and get the tko.

I am rooting for J-Lau here and I think he will beat Pettis. I have been impressed with J-Lau the past two fights and not so much with Pettis. The question I got is starting out the fight does Pettis come out slow or fast because from the few fights I have seen Lauzon is pretty aggressive starting out?

J Lau rocks him and follows him down for the choke in round one.

Pettis via surviving Lauzon's 5 minutes of doom and taking the decision.

I don't see where Lauzon has the advantage here. Pettis will always have the edge in striking, and there's not a chance in hell that he ever gets subbed on the ground. As interesting as this match is on paper, I feel like there's really good odds that this one becomes a really boring stalemate, unless Pettis gets a KO/TKO.

I see Lauzon dominating the first round and getting a VERY strong 10-9/borderline 10-8 round. The second round is a lot closer but still 10-9 for Lauzon. He loses the 3rd round handily, but not quite a 10-9 and gets the win.

I always wonder why Joe has such mysteriously poor cardio.
