Default Dana White Q&A: "(Soccer is) the least-talented sport on Earth"

Continues to bash Mayweather, goes into detail about UFC growth, describes his ultimate and ideal fighter, and continues to insist Women's MMA will not have a home in the UFC.

I’m not a big hockey fan. But I respect how talented you have to be to play hockey. Soccer? That’s a whole other ball. Can’t stand soccer. It’s the least-talented sport on Earth. There’s a reason three-year-olds can play soccer. When you’re playing a game when the net is that big and the score is 3-1 (and that’s a blowout) are you kidding me? You know how untalented you have to be to score three times when the net is that big?

I don't get it. The question was about MMA. Where did soccer come in? Obviously, his opinion is formed by watching MLS and World cup, both examples of really poor soccer.
Or maybe he try to do bad impression of ugly American.

He's either trolling or has no idea what he's talking about. I think a mixture of both.

Yeah because MMA is the shining example of talent and athletics with guys who throw looping sloppy power punches most of the time and gas out before the 3rd round is done. Also, maybe Dana should be saying this to Jose Aldo's face? You know, that talentless soccer guy who holds the featherweight strap.

If he would have said the most boring sport I would have been onboard, but the guys and gals who play are serious athletes.

Soccer requires less talent than archery? Curling? Bowling? C'mon Dana!

It's going to be interesting to see the reaction he gets in Brazil this summer after that comment.

Dana White, you sir is just as bad as Bob Arum for making ignorant comments on a sport you know next to nothing about.

Believe me, if any MMA fighter right nows got the talent(s) to play soccer professionally, they will make the switch in a heartbeat. And please don't bring up Anderson Silva or Jose Aldo, cause as good as they are in soccer, they're soccer drop outs in Brazil. They play it as a past time, and may have had some opportunities in the past, but they didn't make the team.

Dana would never make that comment in Brazil but I'm sure Canadians appreciated that he said hockey takes a lot more talent than soccer. Tough to criticize Dana, he's trying to push a sport into the mainstream with the argument that it is far more exciting than other sports out there.

Everything he said has a counter argument anyways: World Cup is gigantic, indoor soccer games can have 20 or 30 goals a game and there is an obvious hierarchy of talent in soccer

There are some amazing technical athletes in soccer...
