I've got to be honest, I'm finding Derek funny, but for the first time ever (bar possibly, the whole rammed down your throat atheist concept of The Invention of Lying) I'm finding Ricky very irritating. And I would class myself as a HUGE fan. His acting in Derek just looks so false, and so far, as been full of inconsistencies, for me personally. I just can't seem to get past 'Derek' to enjoy it as I'd hoped I would. Karl is brilliant, and so is that 3rd man of which you speak. But Gervais, nope, just not getting it.

Anyway, the videos above from Comic Relief are pure undilited genius.

I was wondering Jmose, I'm assuming you've seen Life's too Short ? I absolutely loved everything about that. Sure Warwick was very 'Brent-like', but still, that will never get old for me.

Yea I get that at times too with the Derek character. As for Life's Too Short, I watched it and I think you're spot on with the comparisons between Brent and Warwick, but there are still enough funny parts to make it a decent show I thought and Warwick's acting was top notch. Funny you mention it because I just caught the preview yesterday for the one off special they are doing around Easter I suppose.

I absolutely loved Life's too Short, I thought it was pure brilliance. And Warwick was superb.

There were talks of a second season, not heard much more since, although I'm very happy with a one-off special.
