Just ran across this. Nice ten minute short film where basically people talk about their lives while having a cigarette break. Found it to be a bit more provocative than the regret video thread.
An interesting short film from Luke Scott apparently with help from his father Ridley Scott (They both get credit for director online). Features The guy from Boiler Room (Giovanni Ribisi) and some up and comer hollywood blondie who's hippie parents named her Jellybean.
Here's the description of Youtube which goes into some nonsense about this month's new camera technology:
"Luke Scott in cooperation with RED Camera presents "LOOM". A film shot completely in 4K format in the tone and style of Ridley Scott's dystopian Blade Runner. The film was originally intended to help showcase the prototype REDray 3D laser player. The film was constructed for 3D, the film needed to push the limits of the cameras exposure sensitivity and colour range and 4K projection. Visually the film is unmatched to date in it's use of RED's new technology."

Call of Cthulhu. It's a 45 minute short that came out in 2005. It's a silent picture and it's done in black and white.

Such an interesting story. Short film / campaign for support in finding out who Benjamin Kyle is. A man with no memory of who he was before an attack that left him with amnesia. Heavy at times, but very thought provoking.

"Overview" - Short docu piece where astronauts reflect on their time in space and their experiences with what has come to be called the "Overview Effect". Essentially it is a universal feeling shared by nearly anyone who has ever been to space where their experience looking down on Earth from a distance changes their perspectives on life and in some ways spiritually alters the way they see the world. Quite well done given the short duration and use of original footage instead of rehashing the same couple quotes I've seen on this topic many times.

I really enjoyed this one a few months back.
