Thanos?!?! So they jump from Loki to the most powerful being in any universe? Jeez, you would think they would pit them against some stuff in the middle first.

Got back from this and have to echo everyone else's statements. Awesome movie and the Hulk was probably the best part. His battles with Thor (especially a certain punch) were epic.
As for Thanos, the set him up pretty well I thought. It's not like they just jump to him out of nowhere. Plus, Loki is baller himself and can hang with pretty much all of the Avengers one-on-one.

This is how Thanos rolls. Well the pimp hand line is no the original dialog, but he is bitch slapping Hulk and Drax with one back hand. (Drax is in the same high level of power as the Hulk)

It's getting awesome reviews and everyone says they like it. I don't know, maybe it's all the Batman stuff I've been reading, but I'm really not excited for Avengers, and I don't really plan on seeing it.

@jedigavin
Loved it. Highly entertaning throughout. Remarkable how Joss Whedon was able to make the movie work with so many strong characters. The part where Hulk interrups Loki's pompous "I am a God lecture" and slams him around like a rag doll made me laugh to tears almost.
4.5/5 stars

Loved it. Highly entertaining throughout. The interactions between the characters was the key to make the whole movie work. Joss Whedon did a remarkable job. The story was smarter and more involved then your typical superhero story. The part where Hulk interrupts Loki's pompous "I am a God" lecture and slams him around like a rag doll almost brought me to tears laughing so hard.

Avengers opens with $200.3 million! I must legitimately say this might be my favorite movie ever.
