Haha. I've had it for as long as I can remember. It's never been more than a "quiet noise" in the background. but if I clear my head and just sit in a quiet place - it's a lot more apparent.

Last time I was at the docs, I told him about it and he suggested that we do surgery. I was like "Uh...no dude. I'm good with it. It's been like that for at least 25 years - I think I'm gonna be ok"

No idea. NEver heard of that.

So I googled it and started to read the wiki page.

When I came across 64 words that I couldn't pronounce (or had any idea what they meant) in the first 2 paragraphs - I bailed.

I was simply saying I experience something the same (or similar) to what DK was describing.

Do you hear fine when talking to people, on the phone or like when you watch something??

I'd go ****ing nuts if I heard any constant ringing, I didnt believe Dana when he said his **** led to the most suicides but I guess really thinking about it, I could see how it does

Yeah. I'm absolutely fine when talking to people, or doing anything. I literally don't notice it unless I try to. But I could stop everything and concentrate on it and I can hear a quiet "ringing" (not really like a ring - it's hard to describe - it's a like a very faint buzz - imagine the buzz you get on the machine when someone flatlines - kinda like that but really light and faint).

Tinnitus is like a constant ringing in the ear. Kinda like what happens after you leave a concert. Being subject to loud noises is one of the factors that causes it.

Greezy, there's this GREAT porn you should watch. It's called "A Serbian Film." You'd love it.

I get this too. I only ever notice it when I am alone and it is very quiet. Usually in the middle of the night when trying to sleep. I also really only notice it if I concentrate on it, but once it's there it can drive me nuts. I always sort of thought it was just my brain playing tricks on me.
