Default Brock possibly back with the UFC???

Post fight is on right now and Ariel just asked Dana about Brock being there

Dana smiled and said he would be talking to Brock. Pretty interesting that he would come back after a small run in the WWE

    edit: mmamania article

During last night's (Sat., May 26, 2012) UFC 146: "Dos Santos vs. Mir" pay-per-view (PPV) event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, there was one face in particular who stood out in the crowd during the heavyweight laden event.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was seen seated cageside, which raised a lot of eyebrows seeing as Lesnar has since moved on to the "greener pastures" of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) after being knocked out by Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 back on Dec. 30, 2011.

During the UFC 146 post-fight press conference, the media demanded answers from UFC President Dana White regarding Lesnar's presence at the event. White was hesitant to reveal too much information, but when asked if Lesnar's appearance meant anything, White would only respond by saying, "maybe" with a coy smile.

And then the bombshell. The Octagon boss admitted a mixed martial arts (MMA) comeback could be in the cards.

It should be noted that Lesnar has signed a one-year deal with WWE through WrestleMania 29 next year, which is scheduled for April 7, 2013. However, current WWE storylines have Brock walking out on the company and suing over a contract dispute.

Until now, it's all been kayfabe (part of the story) but this casts a shadow of doubt over everything. Then again, it's no beyond WWE Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon to send Lesnar to the event to get some publicity for himself to spark interest in current storylines on Monday Night Raw.

MMAmania.com will keep you posted on this story as developments become available.

I bet if Mir had won, they'd give Brock and immediate title shot.

Ash said that too but i just dont see Brock wanting to fight Cain and Overeem again which he surely will have to do but who knows. Maybe he comes back for a fight with Mir regardless

Brock has "it". People want to see him in action, love him or hate him.

Problem is, the guy cannot withstand punishment. I don't see him beating elite MMA fighters any more. If you take Lesnar at his word, he gets involved in sports to be the best. That's not going to happen in the UFC. He would get a nice paycheck, but he's getting that from Vince as well, and with a limited schedule.

I see what's going on here...

    1. Juice up in the WWE
    2. Win Title in UFC
    3. Slowly lose PED benefits, return to step 1

Anyone else like to see Brock v. Cormier?

I said it in the other thread, but I'm curious as to how much "it" he still has with MMA fans (versus casual wrestling fans crossing over to see him fight). It would be one thing if he'd gotten eeked out in closed decisions, but he went out on back to back one-sided beatings. No doubt he could bolster a PPV, but could he possibly main event without a win first?

Maybe this is the +1 from the Strikeforce tourney.

absolutley I could see him still main eventing, and I still see huge numbers.
