Pretty cool story. I didn't know ECW traveled around that far, I thought they stayed mostly in the NY/PA area.

For the most part they did but occasionally they would go outside the NE and tape a show. That was in the later days of the promotion. I think that might have been during the period when Vince was secretly paying Paul E.

They started traveling more once they got their TNN deal. They did 4 PPV in Midwest that I got to go too. I remember at the Anarchy Rules PPV some guy sitting third row almost got the **** beat out of him by most of the arena. He stood up on his chair with a "Drop Owen Here" sign.
