I loved every episode of the first three seasons, except one. Spending the better part of an hour watching Walt chase a fly around the lab was agonizing. I really don't understand why the director had to drag it out that long. To make the point that humans can become preoccupied by insignificant things shouldn't have occupied the bulk of that show.

Anyway, I picked up my copy of season four this evening. Planning a weekend blitz!

Huh? I was talking about Season 4 on DVD/Bluray. I missed it when it ran but I'll be damned if I miss Season 5!

Just finished Season 4. Another great season but I can't say it was better than the previous 3. The scene with Gustavo at the end was brilliant. What a great character. The guy who played him is a fantastic actor. Ready for Season 5!

The first time I saw him in a movie was when he played the bad guy in Fresh, I know I have seen him in a couple of other things. But That role and this one are the only ones that I can see him as now.

Just watched episodes 7 and 8 of season 4. Five more to go. So tempting to pull an all-nighter. **** it's such a good show!

Man, that episode was really painful to watch. I got it too, the "meaning" behind it and everything...but it was such a waste of an episode. I think the writers were too hungover that week to write an excellent show.

So, what are you guys' prediction of how this fantastic show is going to end? My guess is that Walt is going to kill Jessie, as Jessie may be thinking of confessing everything to Walt's brother-in-law/the DEA. Walt will become the new Gus with that last action.

I'm sad that this is the last season, but I have to say, I'm glad that it's going out "on top". So many shows now a days jump the shark long they come to an end.

    A number of things...

You do know that the final season is actually being divided over this summer and summer 2013, right? Eight episodes will air weekly beginning on July 15 and then we'll have to wait another freakin' year to actually see the final eight shows.

And when I say final, I only mean in the sense of the TV series. I was reading just the other day that Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad, has enough material left over for a possible feature film. It sounds like Bryan Cranston is in favor of that idea.

As for you question, my prediction (and it's certainly not original) is that there will be a showdown between Walt and Hank in the end. Your guess that Walt will off Jessie is entirely plausible. I thought Jessie was going to get killed in the fourth season. I kept bracing for it but it never happened. Also thought Steve Gomez would get slaughtered in season four, but I was wrong on that one too.

I will miss Gus Fring. That character was so cool, calm and calculated. Amazing.

Looking forward to July 15, gotta tell ya.
