So what exactly is the link to the Alien franchise? I heard it's kind of a prequel, bit not really. Are the Aliens actually in this movie?

Just saw Prometheus. A little too long, a little too dull. The best part of the movie are the Giger sets especially the spacecraft. Nice to see Grandpa from The Texas Chainsaw massacre make an appearance.

I think im going to see this tonight. Ive read nothing but great things about Noomi Rapaces' perfomance,some even saying she was better here than Sigourney Weaver in Alien. Michael Fassbender apparently gives another great performance as usual it seems too,which is no surprise.

Trying not to really read this thread as I don't really wanna spoil this, gonna catch it sometime this summer. But shockingly seems everyone here likes it, from what i browsed. Cause every review I have seen on the net, seams to go the other way with the movie. Mostly negative to in the middle.
