haha That **** might work at Sherdog, not here. Both guys have stated they were injured, both camps said their fighters went into the fight injured, the UFC has said they were injured, not sure how that is crying by bringing those up. Do some simple research and you will find that out for yourself. Cormier can't even fight in the UFC right now so to even bring that up shows how little you know about this. Who's your second pick to fight JDS above Cain? Probably Jose Aldo. Fact is the UFC and virtually the entire MMA world was hoping both guys got a win so they could set up a rematch. every fighter is injured. training is hard. if they are both hurt, than its equal.right? tito has a injury excuse EVERYTIME he loses. when he won, he never seemed to have a problem. i guess cains injury, whatever it was, prevented him from ducking.LOL... cormier could jump from strikeforce. dana owns strikeforce. john jones could move up. it would be the biggest fight in ufc history. do it while they are both young. jj has the reach of a 7 foot guy and is 6'4. it wouldnt be some kind of david vs goliath match.

Man, i've had a busy weekend, so i've missed out on this thread, but I'm shocked there are people trying to argue that Cain shouldn't be next in line for the title. He is te consensus #2 HW, was the favorite in the last fight, and it finished in a definitive way, but one that didn't answer many questions for a lot of people.
Besides the fact they were both dominant in their last performances on the same card together, there is no one else more deserving.
