Is it time for ZUFFA/UFC to raise the bar a bit?

This is a discussion forum about MMA. People tend to start threads to discuss something that will interest them or that concerns them on these forums. I am pretty sure that 'forum' is not latin for 'the place where people go to stfu'.

Tallica is displeased with the quality of competition that is getting into the UFC right now. I disagree. I am perfectly ok with that state of affairs though.

You also disagree with Tallica, but somehow you seem to very much want him to change his mind. Being that this is a forum, it is certainly the right kind of venue to attempt to do that. However I somehow doubt that telling Tallica to stfu is going to get him to reconsider his position. Advising Tallica that perhaps he should obtain female companionship or take up a hobby is also not likely to change his mind. In addition, I doubt that Tallica would take that advice under serious consideration when you take into account the context within which that advice was offered.

I suppose you could try making your next post in all caps though, while also using a few extra exclamation points. That just might work. Usually the first person to type in all caps will win any argument on the internet. I am sure that is in the forum rules somewhere. If you do that, there is no way he can be right any more.

I'm on the fence because we don't see champs defend the belt enough across the board and yet we have cards damn near every weekend but because Best 80's keeps buying tickets to events everyone and their mother pulls out due to injuries.

Look, there's nothing wrong with being a casual fan, focusing only on the main event, loving Mike Chiesa, being upset tuf is over, thinking shirts with foil are super cool, and getting mad at anyone who dares question UFC practices, but it's not for everyone. I tried, but it's apparent that decent conversations aren't your thing. I guess Cheeto spoke too soon.
