No one really thinks he has a loss in The ufc.. 3 & 0... Future contender, theyll give a journeyman then a top 10 guy... I think he'll do major damage in The divison

There was a moment in the Brenneman fight where after defending a take down, Erick Silva took this stance where he planted his feet and just stood in front of Brenneman oozing confidence. His body language said, you have nothing for me buddy, you better find a way out of this fight. This is when I was sold on Erick Silva. His TDD will only improve. I think he is a freak athlete and I forsee a great trilogy with Rory.

Then again. Thiago Alves also tore through the division at one point before falling off. But he also lost some early fights in the UFC...

Hes got the right tools for success thats for sure. Hes young a compitent grappler(as shown in the last ppv) and has some nice striking. Hes still gotta fight some top guys for me to really be sold on his contention for the belt. I wanna see where he is mentally with the big fights and how well his team will be at gameplaning for those battles against more game opponents. Charlie isnt necessarily the most well rounded fighter in my eyes. So lets see him fight a rick story or a koscheck then ill be sold on his big league status. None the less the guy is an awesome prospect and shows a lot to be excited about.

He's certainly powerful and has shown some well rounded skills but I don't think he's anything special until he beats someone of note. Brenneman hasn't looked great against Silva or Rumble.

They should take their time testing Silva, give him Hardy next!

Erick was fortunate to get as many ref breaks as he got. Did he look good yeah but he doesn't look like anything special to me yet. Put him in there with someone like Matt Brown, Mike Pierce or Kim and see how he copes.

He's gonna go far. He has the stand up, he has the grappling, and he has the freak athleticism to do amazing things in this sport.

Like many others, I became truly sold on him when I saw his Brenneman fight. That guy is the definition of good takedowns + lay n' pray and Silva handled him rather easily.

I don't see them getting matched up with each other too quick, although I'd LOVE to see that fight!

So far I like what I see. I thought he had good composer. Didn't get worked up or overly excited. Remained calm and looked like he was taking advice and thinking abou this position where some fights panic and turn into another fighter when pressured.

Having said that, I would love to see Silva vs Rory.
