Should be a good fight. I really like Miocic but this seems like a big step up for him. Not that I believe Struve to be the best HW in the world but he is pretty dangerous when he isn't unconscious.

On our recent trip to Vegas, like I mentioned previously, we had 3 huge MMA fans, and 3 that hadn't really seen much of it. We came back from Vegas as 6 MMA fans.

One of my buddies from school that has never shown any interest in either boxing or MMA all his life, absolutely loved UFC 146. Which really suprised me. He was also with me when we met Struve and his boys from Holland. He is now a Big Country and Struve fan. He even text me the other day, to ask me to let him know when either of them were fighting next.

Anyway, after returning from the Vegas Stag trip, I told my better half (she is a huge MMA fan) that I would take her to the UFC card in Nottingham. I also told my son (16) that I'd take him as well, and his friend. Both of which train MMA 4 times per week, and have become massive UFC fans, ( They haven't started watching the StrikeForce or Bellator cards as of yet).

So, I booked the hotel for a weekend in Nottingham, for the four of us, and four tickets to the event. I will let my son and his friend do the whole Q and A and Weigh-in thing, of which they are super excited for.

I then got a text off one of my other MMA buddies who went to Vegas with us, stating he had booked tickets for not only him, but also the other 3 friends that had gone to Vegas as MMA virgins. Sure as hell they are hooked. I can't stop smiling about this to be honest, I knew they all enjoyed UFC 146, but I honestly didn't expect the 'virgins' to book up for another. And what is even better is that Struve is now on the card, which will make my former non-combat sport friend very happy.

So far I've read Andy Ogle’s on the card as well vs Akira Corassani with Cyrille Diabate, Paul Sass, Dan Hardy and Gustafasson also rumoured. Brad Pickett v Yves Jaboiun is also signed, that for me is an awesome little scrap.
