I'm 100% serious. Let's examine the basic logic at play here:

These kids are bad because they said mean things, and threatened violence. They did so to put down another and presumably feel better at their expense. Now what do we have in this thread? Let's see.

You're the exact same as them. Well actually, considering that you people are actually adults who should know better, and that unlike them, you're saying this from behind the safety of your computer, allow me to revise my statement:

If you don't think that these kids in the video are worthless little cretins, then I hope you never become a parent. I just spent the last year as a high school councillor at a rural high school. This high school is ranked dead last in the state of Hawaii for education and the school has been number one in the nation for per capita pregnancy several times. Every kid in the school is on pot, and virtually every person that works at the school has to fight with themselves daily to try not to write of most of these little pieces of crap, and most of the teachers do write them off because these kids are screwed. Most of them will be worthless unemployed baby factories for the rest of their lives like most of their parents are.

As screwed up as these kids and this school is I never ONCE saw this level of disrespect towards an adult in this community. If kids had shown an adult in this community that kind of disrespect, other students would have beat their asses, or at least stepped in and told them to shut the **** up. This was not just mob mentality. Mob mentality can make a person do horrible things, but somebody had to start it. You don't get the Nazis without Hitler, and you don't get these little kids without at least one of them being a horrible worthless piece of crap.

And I don't care what the circumstances are, telling an old woman that you would stab her fat ass is beyond anything I have ever heard a kid say in my 12 years of public schooling, or my five years coaching and working in public schools. The principle of the school was very clear that these kids are going to be severely punished, and I am glad there is police involvement. As strange as it is, these kids would be helped by a term in Juvy because the horrible bastards that end up in juvenile hall would never treat an older person that way because they know that if their parents found out it would be their ass.

Anyone who stands up for these kids as being affected by the mob mentality (which I do acknowledge and know the power of) should just eat shi+ and die.

Edit: Wow, I can't believe I wrote that much. That post was supposed to be one line long and then I just got going. This story pissed me off more than anything I have seen on the news recently. My parents both also work in the public school system and we were recently having a conversation about how much worse behaved students are than when they were in school. My dad remembers his best friend being hit in the head with three rulers stacked on each other for talking in class. Kids just sat down and shut up. Respect for adults was bought with terror. Adults could hit you, and parents were supportive of it.

Hell, a friend of mine in school told a teacher to F+++ off, so the teacher (a big guy) picked my friend up and body slammed him against the wall. My friend went home to his dad and told his dad what happened (without the F*** off part). His dad showed up to the school and got in the teacher's face. When the teacher explained that he did what he did because the student told him to F*** off, my friend's dad turned and decked his son and dragged him home by the ear. That is the appropriate response. Period.

Speaking of "messed up logic", here I think we get a good example of how members of this thread's mob "think". I never once defended these kids, or took their side, or said they were right. I never said that at the end of the day I didn't think low of them. I merely said that you lot were no better than them. Something you continue to confirm with every post.
