    Default The Fedor Retirement Thread

Well, after his big KO today, Fedor Emelianenko called it quits.
Because of his 3 losses in a row in Strikefore, and not getting the chance to fight in the UFC, I will not call him the GOAT (that man is Anderson Silva), but there is no doubt his name is in the conversation.

Best HW ever for now, definitely not the best MMA fighter though. I think still think he might be slow mentally for the record.
Have you tried NOT being a mutant?

And here I was hoping he'd have one more fight, probably with Ken Shamrock the way his opponents were progressing.

His last 6 fights took him far away from any GOAT discussion.

I enjoyed his fights previous to that, he really knew how to bring and wasn't afraid to step in and exchange.

The best version 2.0 heavyweight ever. His time has been eclipsed by the 3.0 fighters.

It is very difficult to get a good feel for how intelligent someone is when you cannot speak their language. Someone who speaks with poor grammer and has to search for words in english may well be stunningly eloquent in their own language.

We're going to see Fedor come out of retirement soon...mark my words! He will look a bit worse for wear, but he'll still dominate!
