I never really expected him to look great anyway, but while watching the Russow vs. Verdum fight last night, I was overwhelmed by how inappropriate it seemed that Mike was even in the cage with Fabricio. He didn't stand a chance and it was obviously from the first few seconds.
That has to be one of the worst mismatches I have ever seen and it got me thinking: What are the biggest mismatches in MMA history?
What fight have you watched where it seemed like one guy was so much better than the other that it wasn't even competitive?
Do you agree that the Russow/Verdum fight was a ridiculous mismatch?

Did anyone catch Steven Siler vs. Joey Gambino? Wow. Sean Salmon vs. Rashad Evans and most of Anderson Silva's title fights.

Considering Werdum's pretty damn impressive stand up the last year or so and how well Werdum works from his back, it was hard to see anywhere Russow had the advantage. He basically had a punchers chance, and he isn't really know for his power punching.
More a size than a skill mismatch but the 3 round pounding of Louis Gaudinot by Johnny Bedford was a horrifically obvious mismatch. He just beat that poor little dude up for ~12 minutes. I should be able to think of better examples though...
