I'm imaging this looking exactly like Forrest's fight with Rich Franklin. Extremely slow unexciting striking match that goes the distance with me thinking in my head "Is it over yet?"

Its Teeters retirement match so he deserves a semi-main event slot based on what he has done for the UFC. I'm afraid its Gump who is going to make it boring by doing his patented pitter pats with weak leg kicks while Teets chases him.

After the Small Nog fight, im confident Tito can no longer be competitive. Even Kyle Kingsbury would smash him.

As I said in the previous threads. As Cbear said Ortiz does deserve the co-main event but it's going to be an awkward moment to watch Tito cry followed by Silva/Sonnen 2. I'm calling Forrest for the win though, at this stage in his career it's not that hard to get Tito down and ground and pound him for the win.

Gump should win by all rights but so what? Teets has to retire sometime and now is the time. The old warriors deserve one last fight to make bank and for legit UFC superstars, I think they deserve a superstar sendoff. If I were the UFC, I would be heaping tons of praise on Teeters, make his retirement a big part of the fan fest and have Buffer give him a 5 star introduction. Alot of you are discounting just how important Teeter was to keeping the UFC alive in the dark ages and how he ruled the division and has more fights than anyone. He is an automatic HOF inductee for them and anything less is being dishonest. I'd love to see Teets go out with a win especially over Gump even though its not likely.

I think it will be a strong contrast of events but should lend itself well to the buildup of the main event. All the ceremonial goodbye speech and downtime should be a nice crowd booster and segue to get amped for Silva/Sonnen.
