I retract my earlier statement that every UFC is about as good as that strikeforce card, even if the fighters are not as well known. The prelims for this are pretty meh.

Faber by experience and power in his hands. I could also see him catching a choke in a scramble. Barao is legit, but he isn't the second coming of Aldo.

    Lombard by murderdeathkill.

Yeah, this is going to be a big problem for the UFC. Even I am tons more excited for the Dark Knight Rises than I am for UFC 149. I got Lombard winning and just for kicks I am going for Barao in the upset. Lombard must destroy Boetsch in order to get Silva in my eyes. If this fight goes for even 2 and a half rounds I say Lombard moves down to face someone else in the division. Then you finish the small MW tournament: Weidman vs. Belcher and Stann vs. Bisping. Winnners face each other and then the lucky one faces Silva in summer of 2013.

This is a really bad card. I would talk to Chris Leben about it bit i wouldnt drop a dime on it. Clements vs. Riddle is not main card worthy. Ring/Court will be better

I expect this to resemble Faber/Aldo. Faber is just out-matched.

Tough call on Faber vs. Barao.

Faber wins every fight that isn't for a title, and this one is for an interim title, so who knows!

There's also the question of how Faber will adapt, having faced a similar fighter in Aldo and what Barao can exploit from watching that fight.
