This fight gives me a boner. I think its gonna be fight of the year. Condit isnt the type to get laid and i think we'll see a return to his exciting daring style against GSP. It definently wont be as easy as the numbnuts that judge Carlos Condit solely off the Diaz fight think its going to be.

Condit has no takedown defense compared to GSP and I've never seen anything in Condit's game that says he can submit GSP. Condit has never represented a stylistic challenge for Diaz. The Diaz fight has nothing to do with this not being a particularly compelling match up. Of course I will watch, but as long as GSP is even 70% of normal he takes Condit down at will.

The biggest risk to GSP is ring rust and if he actually makes it to the fight before his knees snap in two.

He has 13 wins by submission, hes a solid ground fighter. I dont think hes the type GSP will look to L'n'P. I dont doubt GSP could take him down but i doubt that will be his strategy. Im sure he will try and box with Condit and just mix it up with a takedown.

Condit is much more dangerous standing than he is on the ground off his back. GSP will take him down. I am more interested to see if GSP shows rust effects, and if not, if he tries to make a statement by finishing Carlos.

There is no logical analysis that GSP is safe in his guard. GSP would be a tough out but there no way you can say GSP would be in no danger on the ground. It is pick your poison with Condit..hes a well-rounded fighter.
