Jake is boring but he's way too good for Pee-Wee. This fight is going the distance. Seconds will feel like hours, you'll finish four beers before the ref raises Jake's hand. Neither fighter will look damaged, or particularly tired.

These are the type of fights that drag cards down, but the UFC can't do anything about it. Shields signed a contract so he has to fight someone. I don't blame the UFC for not putting a better fighter in against him, they'd just get labeled "boring" too as a result. Feed Jake as many lamers as his contract demands, thank him for his services and cut him loose...

I hope Herman's stand-up is on point and he knocks Jake out of the UFC. I think this is a good fight for him, it's an opponent with no finishing potential and poor cardio.

I have zero interest in this fight. Id be content never seeing either guy on a UFC main card.

I just wish the UFC were a little more objective about their hirings and cuts. Like, yeah, I get that they wanted to troll Strikeforce and Dan Henderson with the Shields signing.... but that's past now and it's the general viewership being trolled by having to watch this stiff fight. Why is he still being paid to fight?? He's been completely terrible since they hired him, he hasn't put on a single entertaining minute of fighting that didn't involve him getting his ass kicked, and he's on a 4 fight losing streak by most people's estimation. Just be done with him already, and don't hire anybody else whose sole approach to fighting involves various attempts to stall people out.
