I vaguely remember Gary doing commentary way back when.... probably for the UFC in the 20s or random old PRIDE fights. Speaking of which, I picked up his autobiography the other day. Didn't even know he wrote one. It's pretty decent, although it's weird reading a book about someone you actually know. It's an honest book, which I was happy about. I was worried it'd just be a bunch of **** he made up or embellished.

No, no, it's ketchup chips, not pancakes.

I'm not there yet. He was rumoured to take a dive in that fight, so it'll be interesting.

Frank is a terrible commentator. How can a fighter of his caliber flub this bad? I've seen him clearly giving rounds and fights to fighters that clearly did not win the fight or the round. I'm so glad he's not judge or referee. He would make Mazagatti look like Herb Dean. I still cannot fathom how a fighter of his caliber flub it that badly. It's one thing if he wasn't good at talking the mic, but his analysis of the fights are so poor, you would wonder if he actually was a fighter.

Ideally speaking, I would prefer a combo of Miletich, Bas Rutten, and Rogan. Rogan and Rutten can provide the humor, yet remain serious enough to not annoy Miletich. Or at the very least, Miletich would have enough respect for them not to try to snipe at them. On top of that, Rogan is fairly knowledgable on the ground, Rutten is pretty knowledgable on the standup, and Miletich is a good all-round MMA analysis, filling in the gaps where Rogan and Rutten are less familiar with.

The problem is, though, none of them can say "CORN TO CORE" or "BUD LIGHT HERE WE GO", or even "THE BATTLE CONTINUES" as well as Goldberg or even Anik does. They need someone constantly pushing some ads (not criticizing, but it's true).

The caliber of his fighter? GUy is probably the single most overrated fighter in the history of the sport.

if you go on YouTube there's a montage video of everyone of Goldberg's "it's all over" line.
