Movies you didn't care for but ended up enjoying later on

Is there any films that any of you saw as a kid and possibly didnt enjoy because you didnt understand it. Or maybe a film you saw while in a ****ty mood or werent paying attention, etc.


Unforgiven and Pulp Fiction for me

I saw them both as a kid and had no idea what the **** I was seeing, later on saw them as I got older and realized how great they were.


Also, didn't care for Step Brothers when I first saw it but that movie gets better and better now every time I catch it

I went with my mom to see Scarface in theatre when I was like 5 or something and I didn't much care for it.

I still dont care for Scarface. Pacino chews the scenery with a bad accent for 90 minutes. Everybody likes da bad guy but its not high on my list of good movies.

crazy, stupid, love.. on paper this movie was extremely gay but I watched it and laughed thru the whole movie.

Less Than Zero is more of a recent one for me (even though it's an old movie)... But as a kid I had a hard time getting through Casino because of the realism of the violence, especially the Joe Pesci baseball bat scene. But now as an adult that is one of my favorites.

Well we just recently discussed A History of Violence, that one definitely because I just couldn't get on board with it the first time at all.
