The Long Riders, a classic modern western and in my top 10 of best westerns of all time. They channelled Peckinpah in this one.
The great Bowie Knife fight scene with David Carridine from the Long Riders.

A couple of not so obscure but very overlooked films in my opinion, some that I've seen again pretty recently:
The Name of the Rose, a Sean Connery film based on an Umberto Eco novel with the same name. He's investigating a chain of deaths in a middle age roman monastery.
The Dead Zone, an old underrated David Cronenberg film with Christopher Walken. About a guy who goes into a coma after a car accident and wakes up 5 years later with special psychic abilities.

I don't know whether to actually recommend this one or not because most here wouldn't watch it for more than fifteen minutes (just blindly assuming, sorry) but as an experience it was unique. I have to confess I won't probably watch it again though for the next ten years.
