I agree with most everything you said but the early stoppage. Bisping was dancing around with the pitty-patties but that's the regular for him. Early stoppage though? When you curdle up into feeble position you're looking to get the fight finished. That is all there is to say about that ending.

I don't think is was too far away from a legit stoppage, but when you put it into contrast with regards Tavares, it was light years away. Sure Mike was turtled up, but he was looking to defend the head shots, he had his hands up, and Vitor's finishing shots were to the body. I just looked a bit premature. I'm not saying Mike could have come back from that kick, but he was far from out as well.

I guess the fact Mike never disputed it, tells it's own story really. Dan just looked a bit quick off the mark for me, and I truly believe most of that was down to how he let Tavares take far too much, a proper old fashioned 'Goodridge'.

Yeah, the stoppage was fine, imo. If you turn away from your opponent and turtle, you are toast. Obviously he's going to put his arms over his head for self preservation, but he wasn't looking to stay in the fight.

I agree with Tallica. Bisping had checked out at that point.

The stoppage was early, but letting it go another couple of punches wouldn't have changed anything. I was ok with it.
