Really? I've never heard once that he's attractive, and I've watched a bunch of his fights with various women. My wife thinks he looks like the guy at the gym who stopped living and only bench presses.

Hey Bulldog, I'm curious... who does your wife think is attractive in the UFC?

read this on another site... lol

The Vermilion River, which runs through Daniel Cormier's home town of Lafayette, Louisiana, is a one-way hoodoo highway, with bottle spells regularly coursing down its waters. So the Lafayette-born Daniel Cormier probably knows something about curses.

On April 20 in San Jose, California, at UFC on FOX 7, Cormier is going to run into the Frank Mir Curse.

Losing to Frank Mir can be brutal, with surgery and pins in your bones.

But beating Frank Mir, only means you are going to lose. With one impossible exception, no one ever beat Frank Mir and won their next fight.

    Mir has six losses:
Ian Freeman • 07/13/2002 • UFC 38: Brawl at the Hall
    Marcio Cruz • 02/04/2006 • UFC 57: Liddell vs Couture 3
    Brandon Vera • 11/18/2006 • UFC 65: Bad Intentions
    Brock Lesnar • 07/11/2009 • UFC 100
Shane Carwin • 03/27/2010 • UFC 111: St. Pierre vs. Hardy
Junior Dos Santos • 05/26/2012 • UFC 146: Mir vs. Dos Santos

Frank Mir was the biggest up and coming fighter in the UFC when Ian Freeman kayoed him in the first. This was the beginning of the Frank Mir Curse; in his next fight Freeman was knocked out by Andrei Arlovksi in under two minutes.

Next to suffer the Curse was Pe de Pano, who also knocked out Mir, and then suffered not just one, but two losses, to Jeff Monson and Arlovski.

Brandon Vera beat Mir by knockout in, you guessed it, the first round. And what happened? He lost his next two fights, to Tim Sylvia and Fabricio Werdum.

When Brock Lesnar beat Frank Mir at UFC 100, he - alone - was saved from the Frank Mir curse. This was only because Lesnar's next opponent, Shane Carwin, had also beaten Mir. And the hardest math in the world is fighting - half the people lose every fight.

So what happened? Carwin destroyed Lesnar in the first round, so badly that many refs would have stopped it. And then in the second, Brock came back and beat Carwin in the second.

It didn't stop there. Everyone who thought Junior dos Santos was going to handily beat Cain Velasquez in the rematch forgot about the Frank Mir Curse, as Velasquez beat the odds and beat dos Santos from corner post to corner post for five rounds. And the Octagon has eight corner posts.

So Daniel Cormier beware. It might be prudent to add one more protective bottle spell into the Bayou Vermilion Watershed sometime before April 20th, because if you lose you lose, but if you win, you're cursed.

The mere existence of Lesnar vs Carwin puts a dump into that Frank Mir curse. Funny, but pretty worthless.

While I do think DC stops Frank in 2 rounds,I'm rather surprised a relative unknown is a 4:1 favorite over Mir.

I forgot about Mir losing to Vera. Whoops.
