1) She only "lied" because to disclose = instant firing.
2) Teachers omitt and lie all the time about more damning behavior, and you don't raise a fuss.
3) You should only have to disclose relevant information, and your sharia law style outlook doesn't hold water.
4) There are behaviors that are more "mainstream" that are far more harmful.

Funnily enough, I agree with you about the majority of this case. I don't think that there is anything wrong with someone who had a history in porn being a school teacher. But there is no evidence that she lied because if she didn't she would have been fired. All we know is that she did lie, and I agree with BD that lying is grounds for firing.

My highschool football coach, who also ran the school athletic program was banging a couple of the grade 12 girls. When word got out, he was essentially just demoted from running the ahtletic program. He continued to teach and coach.
