Yeah. 49-46 is defiinitely not out of the question. 48-47 and 49-46 are perfectly acceptable scores for that fight.

Let's not be confused now, it was Dodson that made that fight, both by catching MM consistently for the first 3 rounds and then being tired for the last 2. If Dodson didn't impose his striking and takedown defense for the first 70% of the fight, it would've been MM's usual "miss a 1-2, circle out, repeat" strategy all night long.

I thought it was a good even fight. If it would have been 1 sided, then it would have won best something of the night, and won everyones hearts here.
I had Dodson 1-2, even 3rd, MM took 4th at the end, and all MM in the 5th.

ashton is right. MM just isn't a fun champ to have around. the guy doesn't have the weapon to finish his opponents. nobody wants to see him dance around displaying his technical brilliance as joe rogan would like to put it. btw, there really isn't much technical brilliance to his striking skills.

A lot happening, really good defence, even matched made for a chess war IMO. Not a huge fan of either, but liked the outcome none the less.
