I am looking forward to this one. Despite the lack of name power, OneFC has turned out to be a decent promotion.

    My picks:

    First fight up:

Jake Butler (0-0-0) vs Antonio Romulo (1-0-0).

I picked Butler due to affiliation with Evolve MMA (probably superior training partners).

    Shimada is referee tonight.

Butler comes out and backs up Antonio with jabs, then shoots in for takedown near the cage, gets to half guard. Butler getting close to side control. Just about there. Skips side mount goes directly to mount. Jake is posturing up and landing some ground and pount now. Antonio gets his feet under Jakes shoulders and does nothing. Jake gets side choke for a moment then just goes back to punching Antonio's stupid face. Elbows from Jake and Antonio responds with giving his back and bleeding. Now some left hands and Shimada ends the fight.

Jake Butler by TKO in round 1.

    2nd Fight:

Gianni Subba (1-0-0) vs Saiful Merican (0-0-0).

This fight is a catchweight at 130 pounds. I picked Subba because of his edge in experience. (Yeah, I pulled all of this out my ass.) Subba also had a previous fight in One FC, won by a 1 punch knockdown followed by soccer kicks. Saiful seems to be a popular Muay Thai fighter. Commentators saying 123 Muay Thai fights.

    Not Shimda is referee.

    Round 1:

Both gusy feeling out in middle of ring. Saiful is going for leg kicks. Subba goes for big takedown, almost a slam but not much power behind it. Subba is in Saiful's guard, trying to get his arms free. Saiful is holding on tight. Subba throwing some ground and pound from guard. Saiful trying to kick him off. Subba gets to side control, goes for some elbows. Saiful gives up mount and starts eating some ground and pound. Saiful is defending and suddenly gets the hell out of mount by putting his feet into subbas armpits and fliping him back. and trys to get an ankle lock. Fight is back on the feet for a moment, but Subba puts Saiful back on the ground.

Saiful sweeps and gets to Subba's guard. Subba hs holding Subba down. Crowd chanting for Saiful. Subba holding Saiful down, and Subba tries to advance. Subba is holding a body triangle with 10 seconds left. End of round one.

Weird that the Nicole Chua vs Jeet Toshi is still the only female fight in One FC. It seemed to be well received from the live crowd.

Malaysia is pretty heavily Muslim, isn't it? If it's not that, it may just be a whole lot of sexism making home crowds **** on it.

Lenne Hardt is so awesome. Jimmy Lennen Jr could take some cues from her intros. Bruce Buffer is so ingrained in the UFC it would be tough to imagine anyone else doing intros other than Brucie.
