I'm 24 and I have no idea when those events I watched as a kid were from. I was probably 8-10 years old when I watched wrestling.

Reading the whole thing, i think he makes some decent points. I think he is over-complicating it a bit, but I am sure the Blackzillians aren't helping him progress and maintain his striking skills, particularly his defense. It really comes down to being a cocky prick, and then doing what he always does when someone punches him in the face.

Yeah, I'm failing to see why people think the Overeem that showed up against Bigfoot than the Overeem who has been Overeem his entire career. Ever since "hulking up" - the guy has fought every fight exactly the same. Boringly plod forward and either out-muscle an opponent that he's simply a lot bigger than , out-muscle someone who was checked out of MMA, beat a can, or lose against someone who outstruck you but fell to their back 100 times in the fight which made them look like a pussy.

That's Overeem's "roided up" career right there.
