Bader vs Lorenz Larkin would be the fight I'd book, Bader needs to prove he can win several fights in a row before calling out more ex-champs, and Lorenz Larkin is a good test of Bader's striking skills. Especially since Musasi is already booked against Gustaffson for top Strikeforce LHWs.

I'll take Baders own word for it over yours, moving on.

His words don't matter when you have live video showing what's happening.

Did he grab Tito's leg? Yes.
Did he try to pull back against Tito's Sub? Yes.

I'm not saying Bader wasn't knocked silly, and I'm saying he wasn't comletely KOed. Maybe you guys are minterpreting his words.

I'm sure the UFC can convince him to move up in weight. But if that's the case, OSP is available to be Bader's next opponent.

Anybody else love it when threads get hijacked by semantics and technicalities???

Both could be true. He could have been blasted hard enough to lose one or two seconds, but still aware enough to act semi-intelligently. Leben has plenty of wins where he knocks a guy out after being clipped hard enough that his eyes are rolling back.

Bader looked pretty decent last night. I was more underwhelmed by Vladdy who i think has the ability to really cause Bader some trouble. Vladdy needs to get some real ring time in. It seems like all of his fights are over to fast to really asses him going forward. I checked and his last 5 fights in the UFC total to only 7.5 minutes combined. He's only averaging 90 seconds a fight for the last 2.5 years. The guys he's losing to are guys you kind of expect him to get beat by, but it would be nice if he could get some more time in. Going forward, I don't really know how to feel about his chances against anybody.

Back to Bader. I still think his striking is pretty piss poor, but I think his skillset is one that keeps him around the top quarter of the 205 division for a long time. Guys with good footwork and decent hands are going to give him fits.
