I'd think that Vinny would be able to control it on the ground and end up in an advantageous position. This is assuming he doesn't take a lot of damage initially, and also assumes that a ref will let them actually grapple on the ground.
Initially, I'd imagine it's a stalemate. But once Vinny gets the top position (via a sweep, whatever) - or even a tight guard - I think he ends up subbing Phil.

However, I can see this as a boring "let's both do the one thing we're REEEEEAAAAAALLLY bad at" type of fight as neither guy would want to risk going to the ground (although I'd bet Vinny would be more game for it than Phil).
When Vinny fought in TUF he also kept trying to kick and box but because he sucked so bad at it he would eventually pull guard and win via sub. I know he has a couple of TKO wins in M-1 but I don't know much about the quality of his opposition in those fights.
I like Vinny and I hope he can pull out a win I just think Phil is gonna keep it standing or maybe go for a few takedowns late in the rounds and win by decision, or something like that.

And don't be so hard on the chink, he's a good guy and hasn't called me Dutch

Also, just wanted to point out that I said they should fight back in November:
Now that I think about it, Kongo and Roy and the perfect ying and yang. Their bodies and polar opposites of each other. Kongo is insanely ripped, black as f*ck, and completely hairless. Roy is the fattest, least muscular HW, super pale white trash, and has a massive beard and mullet. Having these two fight would either destroy or save the world.
The Vinny match-up is intriguing, but I think Roy crushes The Cheat pretty easily, most likely with a haymaker.

When Tim Sylvia gives blood, he declines the syringe, and requests a gun and a bucket.

I actually like Kongo (one of the few people here that does, it seems), the way he fights is very intriguing to me. I doubt he'll be able to hold onto Roy for 15-minutes though.
