The ps3 is 6 or 7 years old,so lots.Sony is also dumping the massive flop cell CPU for an AMD.This was the main reason why the Xbox version was almost always superior to the ps version.It was a nightmare to work with.

Buying consoles on release day is never worth it. Huge lineups, ****ty prices, limited games and all kinds of patches and bugs.

Wait in line, buy it, sell it on eBay for twice or more than you paid, and then buy it a couple months later. I do it every time, but ebay dropped the ball allowing scammers to bid on the ps3.

Not according to the president of Rockstar Games. He said that other developers were just idiots that didn't know what they were doing. He said if you knew what you were doing it was easy to make games on the PS3.

Well, the development difficulty was mostly during PS3's first years since launch. A lot of developers had matured tools for the Xbox 360 and couldn't readily use it for PS3 and Cell proved to be a different kind of beast. I think that's where the comments came from and it forced Sony to go out of its way to help developers get things ready for their platform.

i think xbox live just helped ms overtake sony, not just the games. microsoft just does a better job of showing you their games through the xbox live service.

I doubt it'll be $600. I expect it to come in at around $400.

Is somebody forgetting the PS3 being $599 at launch.

I fully expect Sony to of learned nothing at all and release it at $600+. I could be wrong and they may of learned something but my bets are they've learned nothing as shown by the Vita.
