I think that this fight is going to be a blowout "quick win" for Rousey and won't have much effect. It'll be touted a huge success - but then
all of the other WMMA fights that the UFC has are going to blow. HARD. The boo birds will be out and the critics will be in full effect and Dana will pull the plug (especially if Rousey doesn't become the huge megastar he's banking on). If Rousey loses - at any time - it just speeds up the process.
Have you watched any WMMA? Women have proven to be a draw in Strikeforce, and the 15 people who have watched Invicta, myself included, had nothing but praise for the fights and level of action. Casual fans drive the UFC engine, not the overly critical die hard populous. Casual fans love watching the women fight. They almost always bring excitement.
