There's another reason why Bellator didn't pick up Fitch - he might have a matching option in his - if Dana and friends want to screw with Bellator, this would be how they would do it.

I think cutting Fitch is a mistake.

However, there is some basis for the cut. Fitch is 1-2-1 in his last 4 fights, and in both of the losses Fitch was completely clowned; A 12 second knockout and 3 back to back rounds of what ought to have been 10-8 rounds. Matchmaking wise he is also a nightmare, he derails more exciting prospects on their way up, and guys already on the top do not want to take a fight with him.

Still, Fitch should not have been cut. The guy might be boring, but the man generally dominates the hell out of his opponents.
