Wait, did they actually not show the system itself???

Yawn.
What a ****ing disaster of an event. Tech demos, prerendered bull****, cinematics and bull****. Guess we'll have to wait for E3 for a price and the actually see the thing.
Watch Dogs once again stole the show even though it was just confirmed to be running on a PC and not the PS4.

Well...that was underwhelming to say the least. Everything seems rushed. It's about time Google or Apple threw their hat into the console ring. The only company who tries to innovate is Nintendo, and they are not enough. It's time to see a major step up in console gaming.

Yah too many tech demos. Killzone and Watchdogs were certainly the highlights of the show along with some of the cloud stuff, but they needed a better line up then that.
Plus we still don't know for sure what kind of disc drive the thing has, any more details on the playstation network etc. Too many unanswered questions and too many gimmicks.

Microsoft had no business at all getting in to the console race. They've damaged it heavily if anything.
It should be Nintendo and Sony only.

And lets be honest about Nintendo, there is next to no actual "innovation" when it comes to the Wii U. They just jumped on the touchpad bandwagon that Apple started and partnered it with some sub standard hardware.
When it comes to innovation in the last generation, the wiimote and the kinect are the 2 best attempts at true innovation (with honorable mention going to the 3ds's glassesless 3d)
