Default Tony Ayala gets 10 years...

    Ayala gets ten years!
    By Chistian Schmidt
Texas State District Judge Maria Teresa Herr has given one-time highly touted contender Tony Ayala Jr. a 10 year prison sentence for violating terms of his probation after he was caught speeding earlier this month in San Antonio, TX. Upon his speeding violation, drug paraphernalia was found, a direct violation of his probation. Ayala's probation came about from a 2001 conviction for burglary with intent to commit aggravated assault after he broke into a young woman's home. During the incident, Ayala was shot once in the shoulder by the young lady. He previously spent 17 years in prison on a rape conviction. Ayala was last in the ring on an ESPN2 card dropping a unanimous decision to Anthony Bonsante. "El Torito," now 41, stated that he did not want to go out a loser, however with this sentence, one more payday is near impossible.

one more payday, so he can buy cigs in the pen. whoever buys tickets to see him for a final time should slap themselfes. he should have been put away as soon as they found him in that girl's room. i guess some guys are destined to be locked up for good.

Yes he should have been put away then. Hopefully he stays in jail for a long time. I had a friend who was raped so I know how that affects a person.

it's unfortunate, but if you do the crime you've got to do the time.
