Quote:
Yesterday we broke the story on MMAWeekly.com's SoundOff Forum about the Din Thomas vs Amar Suloev fight. Also on that thread we mentioned that Kimo most likely will be on the card as well.

Kimo who had a controversial loss to Bob Sapp, will step up in talent this time around as he most likely will be scheduled to fight Michael McDonald in K-1's event on December 31st.

Some things still need to be worked out on the deal, but things look good for a fight to happen between McDonald and Kimo. This will be the second fight of a six fight deal for Kimo.
Anyone know if it'll be Kickboxing or MMA yet? I'm thinking Kickboxing, but a lot of K-1 guys are fighting MMA at the show, so....

I couldn't agree more! If Kimo is doing a K-1 Rules against McDonald....ooh, that's just going to be ugly ala LeBanner vs. Frye

Kimo is a terrible striker. Anybody who saw his fight with Sapp knows this. Kimo will lose.

mcdonald has great hands and a ton of experience. kimo may have given sapp a run, but i've never been too impressed with his standup. why the hell would k-1 sign kimo to a 6 fight deal??? ishi must be getting alzheimers during his golden years.

If it's MMA I'll take Kimo. If it's K-1 McDonald is going to kill him.

Due to the lack of info on the rules, I wasn't sure where to put this thread...if the mods find it appropriate to move it and I did post it in the wrong place, I apologize.

I don't think it really matters that it's in here as long as next time you put news like this in the K-1 forum.

As for the news of the fight, it should be a real boring slopfest. I'd say that Macdonald is going to win the fight by knockout.
